In order to meet the major challenges faced by the European chemical industry (environmental and energy constraints, scarcity of fossil feedstock, increased competition), Certech is developing continuous processes with low environmental impact, more efficient and selective, requiring less investment and rationalizing the use of raw materials and energy.
Our research and development project addresses the following aspects:
- Development of catalytic structured reactors for the transformation of biosourced molecules platforms into key precursors for industrial chemistry
- Synthesis of original catalysts grafted onto metal and ceramic foam
- Development of operating conditions for dehydration reactions, key reactions for the valorization of products from biomass into reaction intermediates.
