Recent advances in the construction sector have led to the development of scalable and modular ventilation systems which require:
- improvement of the acoustic performance at high air flow
- evacuation of the condensates in order to avoid frost formation
- overall management of building ventilation as a system from several decentralized units
The research projects conducted at Certech aims to develop a thermoformable heat exchanger, permeable to liquid water and relatively airtight. For this purpose, Certech relies on its expertise in the field of polymer materials: the design and formulation of materials, transformation and forming processes, and physicochemical and thermomechanical analysis of the products obtained.
