Certech has two additional equipment’s for occupational hygiene activities:
– A fumigator equipped with a flow controller creates a non-toxic visible white smoke allowing the identification of air movements and the estimation of extraction efficiency from collective protection equipment.
Applications: confines volumes (offices), industrial hall, Industrial Hygiene.
– The second equipment can evaluate the thermal comfort. This parameter, defined for sedentary activities such as office activities, allows to determine the PMV and PPD indices described by the ISO7730 standard “Ergonomics of the thermal environment — Analytical determination and interpretation of thermal comfort using calculation of the PMV and PPD indices and local thermal comfort criteria”. The thermal comfort is depending on the metabolic rate, the clothing insulation and climatic parameters.
